The current process for using inkview for doing presentations is fairly primitive, so expect to need to do some scripting for anything nontrivial.
Another question, is there a repository/web page/whatever for sharing these scripts?
Yes, indeed, you are welcome to post it whereever it is convenient, and you may also post them to the Inkscape patch tracker to be reviewed and later incorporated into the Inkscape codebase.
We've also talked a bit about setting up an "Inkscape Script Repository" but this is still conceptual at this point.
