[Inkscape-user] Cannot print to letter size paper

I am trying Inkscape and so far so good except for one thing, I cannot print to letter size paper. This is 0.42.2 in Suse 10.0. Printer is Laserjet 2300 (postscript) on USB. Set the media size to letter in yast, and then in KDE control panel to letter. Also set the print to PDF and Print to postscript to letter. Gnome configuration does not have anything that I could find for printing configuration, however, evolution and other gnome apps print fine.

Why does not Inkscape have a printer configuration if it does not use the default cups config? Not much on the wiki about it either.

Would sure like to use Inkscape, but unless I can print to letter size, it will be useless.
