speaking of discoverability, I tried to find a way to position guide precisely and never found this feature (which was exactly what I was looking for).
Once it is possible to create a new guide I figure most of the rest is moot. not much need to move a guide if you can easily remove one and add a new one where you really want it. far simpler, no?
