Let me get this strait. I am developing a program to make svg's that where created in inkscape and merge them together to make an avatar. http://launchpad.net/memaker. If I am not mistaken, the viewBox is the area of which is veiwable by aplications? This may be why we have this bug... When we merge multiple images with our merging library, the images don't showup correctly in the preview screen, and when they are saved... they are in the right proportions... but not in the right viewBox area. To best explain it... I would just try the program out. Select a head and a feiw other features and you will see the changes.... then save the image and look at it in inkscape. Interesting don't you think? to download it: "bzr branch http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~encompass/memaker/trunk"
Thanks to everyone that gives it a try... it is a huge challenge for us that we are trying to figure out. You people seem to know a lot more information about svg's then I do so hopefully we can't figure the answer out.
