There are a few bug reports about problems with OSX in the bug tracker. Several other people are having identical problems. I would encourage you to look there for tips and tricks for solving this issue as they develop, and I'd also encourage you to chip in with your thoughts and findings, so you can help folks achieve a resolution to the problem more swiftly. :-)
