Right now I can live with Inkscape 0.44. As I do not have the skills and the time, I am not going deeper into Inkscap. Thank for you information. There are known problems with Inkscape 0.45 on OS 10.3.9. The issue is that all mac developers use 10.4 and we need somebody with OS 10.3.9 to compile Inkscape. There are ongoing efforts on this but I need time, which I don't have right now, to sort these issues out. Your help would be appreciated if you are ready to install additional software and to use the terminal a bit.
