Can you explain in more detail what you mean by cutting the circles by
the
radii? If I create a circle and then a straight line through it (either
completely
through or as a radius) and then select both objects and select path -> division both objects just disappear.
I've messed around with all the path functions and nothing seems to
create
separate sectors. I'm trying to do it on the most simple examples and
can't
get any division of sectors.
Comments to attach:
- Draw a circle
- Convert it to outlines (Ctrl+Shift+C)
- Draw an angle line like this one: /\
- Put this line on the outlined circle
- Select both objects
- Apply Divide (Ctrl+/) boolean action
- There you have a sector. Mess with it ;)

Thanks Alexandre, I seem to have finally figured it out. My graphic isn't perfect, but it is good enough for what I need. I had to cheat to get the sector separators on some parts because I was using union by mistake when I should have been using combine.
Thanks for the help. I've attached my grahpic for what it is worth. The only thing that would have been better is if I could have made the ring segments the same size, they get smaller as you get closer to the middle because I created my outside circle and sliced the segments, then cloned them and scaled down to the middle. But it will do.
