[Inkscape-user] Gradient fill Quality (Linux user)

Hi there, I would like to ask about inkscape gradient fill option. When I use gradients I can easily recognise tone steps in the gradient ..especially when I am using few gredient filled objects with different transparency levels. What might be the reason ? I using Debian , Xorg 24 bit Color Depth. When I draw the same picture under windows with AI or Photoshop the gradients are more smooth. Thanks, Paul
