[Inkscape-user] inkscape build on windows slooow

Hi all,

I installed the stable inkscape on windows and I noticed that the translation of a group of more than 20 objects has an intolerable lag. I decided on a quick hack by moving out of the way the dlls that were also in my GTK-2.8.9 installation (for the gimp). Now it really *flies*.

I've tried this trick with the latest build and the gtk-2.8.13 binaries , but to no avail.

And that's really a shame b/c I getting very fond of the snap to object feature now.

Does anybody have a clue where the translation lag originates exactly ?
