I was hoping some of you fellow inkscape users may now how to accomplish this particular way manipulating text. It started as a discussion at the inkscape forum in this thread, and I trying to find a reliable way to reproduce the indiana, ben hur and red hot shape of text. http://www.inkscapeforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=32
Can someone help out on this one, or is my only alternative to manually edit each set of node.
