Hi folks,
I'm trying to install and explain to enjoy Inkscape 0.42 to an old friend of mine, equipped with a Windows98/Pentium II/32MbRam (yes, 32 !) but it didn't ! I also read developers can't follow this operating system so I wanna ask :
Can I install a free linux distro and hopeing to install succesfully my beloved Inkscape on this notebook (it has 1,4Gb hard Disk) ?
Is that one 4GB hard disk, or a 1.4GB hard disk... either way, with something that low on resources, I'd personally recommend DSL (Damn Small Linux). They do have Inkscape available as a package for it as well, but with that little amount of RAM I can't say how well it will do performance-wise.
