I'm using Inkscape 0.46 on Leopard in Japanese. But, original dmg package shows English in UI. And User fonts wasn't shown in fonts list.

So, I modified following 2 files for Japanese. /Applications/Inkscape.app/Contents/Resources/bin/inkscape /Applications/Inkscape.app/Contents/Resources/etc/fonts/fonts.conf

file named "inkscape" had change as following.

1. Comment out form 60 to 62 by using '#'. 2. Add line 63 [export LANG="`defaults read .GlobalPreferences AppleLocale`.UT F-8"]

because, original command works as [export LANG=sjis.UTF-8] and gets no result .

file named "fonts.conf" had change as following.

1. Add [<dir>~/Library/Fonts</dir>] in 'Font directory list' section.

Then, Inkscape 0.46 works great!

But, I'm not expert for this kind things. Please, let me know, if there are some other better way.
