Inkscape on Mac OSX 10.10.5 with 3 monitors
Hi Everyone,
I wonder if I'm the only one with this problem: Inkscape won't run on MacOSX when I use more then one screen!
XQuartz starts, but Inkscape doesn't follow. When I ask Mac to show me all windows, the Inkscape screen is among them, but if I click on it, it won't open.
It gets even weirder: I also use Fontforge through XQuartz. That works! Now, if I first start FontForge and then Inkscape, I *do* get the see and click on the Inkscape window! Well, that is at least a work around.
It would already good to know that I'm not the only one — just a reassurance that I'm maybe not totally crazy :D
Thanks beofore hand!
Maarten

Known XQuartz issue on OS X >= 10.9, tracked for Inkscape in
Bug #1244397 “XQuartz on OS X 10.9 and later: limited support for multi-monitor setups” https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1244397
The recommended workaround:
Turn off "Displays have separate spaces" in Mission Control if you need to use X11 across multiple displays

Thank you!
