
I wanted to switch the vertical ruler to show the lowest number at top but there was no such option. For things like layouting a business letter this is the better way because the definition of a business letter begins at the top of the page.

This is a known issue, that I believe mental is working on for 0.46. It's been a long, long todo list item to swap the coordinates, but only recently has the prerequisite underlying work been done to make this possible.
I don't know what mental's schedule for getting this into SVN is, but you may want to keep an eye on the SVN tree for when the feature pops up. I'd be surprised if this were not done by 0.46 later this year.
