0.92pre3 feedback - flickering pointer icon during drags
Hi Friends, I've just been playing with 0.92pre3, eventually to try the gradient mesh tool. But first I'm drawing the object. One thing I notice that's never happened before, is that while I'm dragging a node or dragging an object (probably dragging anything, but I haven't tested everything yet) that old Windows "wait" pointer icon, the little hourglass, is flickering the whole time during the drag. Since I've made my pointer icons larger, it probably is bigger than it appears for most Windows users. But even if it were smaller, it still is annoying as heck! Possibly could be related to using the Windows Classic theme?? I've looked through Inkscape Preferences, and I don't see anything obvious that might control this. But of course I often don't understand the meaning of things. Is there any way to turn off this icon (except for disabling it globally)? I made a video, in case you don't already know what it looks like. Note that what I see in Inkscape is slightly different from the video. The video shows the icon is flickering intermittently. But that must be some effect of the recording. In Inkscape, the icon is there constantly, and flickering fast. (If I were to guess, maybe 4 or 5 times per second.)

Thank you very much, brynn PS (Part of the reason I couldn't accept Windows 10 was the lack of the Windows Classic theme, so that's how I have a brand new computer with an old os. I hope to be a full time Linux user by the time MS ends support for Windows 7.)
Since no one has answered, I guess it means this isn't considered to be a problem?
Thanks, brynn

just for curiosity, how did you get the yellow circle to be part of your cursor, and how did you get the cursor to be large? I get a yellow circle as part of the cursor if I use the tweak tool, but then it goes away if I switch to the node tool.
Have you tried using the normal default cursor without the yellow circle to see if that makes a difference?

Thanks Alvin, The yellow circle is part of Screencast-O-Matic. It's just a video capture that's easy for newbies. I don't see the yellow circle in Inkscape. I made the cursor larger by Control Panel > Mouse > Pointers > Scheme > Windows Standard (extra large). There are several options there for changing the pointers. I used the same thing in Windows 7 Home, and didn't see it there. So at least to me, it seems odd that it's happening in Windows 7 Pro. That's what made me think it might be related to 0.92pre3. I was about to try putting the pointers back to normal size. But now the problem doesn't seem to be happening anymore! I guess all I can do is watch for it happening again. I can't think of anything I was doing differently when I saw it before. I'll post again if I happens again. Thanks anyway :-)
Thanks, brynn
