Printing a big SVG in a moosaic of pages
Hi
I have a big SVG (a big graph rendered by GraphViz) and I would like to print it. It doesn't fit an A4 or A3 page. I tried to convert the postscript generated by GraphViz to a PDF file, and I get it cropped because it doesn't fit the bigger page supported by GhostScript (A0).
Thus, I would like to create a moosaic of A4 or A3 pages from inkscape. Inkscape loads the svg file quite well, and I can scale it to fit the paper I want, but there isn't a simple method (that I know) to fit the SVG file into, say, 3 A4 pages (one in top of the others).
Is there any easy solution? Thank you Alberto

I've been told (haven't used it myself) that the Poster utility from the KDEPrint project can do print tiling with Inkscape's PS output. I'd really love to see such a utility for PDFs too.

Well, If I could get a PDF file of the drawing without being cropped, OmniGraffle would do postering as well. The problem is that PS2PDF crops the PDF, and inkscape exports an empty PDF page.
Cheers Alberto
If you just want to tile pages and do not care about the format, try Picasa(!). Somewhere hidden deeply in the GUI is the possibility of printing tiled pages. I must admit that I have not checked this posibility out in the Linux version, but at least it works in Windows.
