I like the availablity 3d polyhedrons. But can the aspect of these figures be changed? The truncated tetrahedron for example yields a top view. Can I get an angle view or even a side view of this 3d figure? Or is it just a 2d representation of a 3d figure?

You cannot change the view (at this time) and I'm not entirely sure how you would see that happening (feel free to propose a UI), but I think in principle the 3D coordinates are stored alongside the 2D SVG data, so I guess it would be possible in theory.
