error with gradient mesh - too many heap sessions
Hi Friends, I've just been working on an image testing the gradient mesh. Suddenly out of nowhere (specifically, I was dragging a handle in the mesh, not a node/stop, but handle) a small window popped up with the titlebar "Error in GC" and the message "Too many heap sessions". When I Ok'd that little window, Inkscape closed or crashed. So I can potentially avoid it in the future, what does that mean? And just a general question, while I'm here. It seems the tool is limited to 20 x 20 rows and columns. Or is there some way to get more?
Thanks for your help :-)
Looks like https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/168914 ... what's your configuration ? (OS, 32b/64b, amount of RAM ?)
Yes, that's the same error. I didn't get the gdb though.
Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit, 8gb RAM, (brand new computer) and this is with 0.92pre3, 64-bit, 7z version (didn't get pre4 yet). The file is only 428 kb. Was probably slightly smaller at the time of the crash.
So far, it hasn't happened a 2nd time. Should I try to get the gdb, if it happens again?
Thanks :-)
