Im using Inkscape 0.44.1, built Sep 9, 2006 under windows xp. When I try to access the document properties panel -> file -> document properties, the panel does not show up. Is this happening with someone else?

It could be that the dialog is opened outside the visible area of your screen (do you use multiple monitors?). If so: close Inkscape and open preferences.xml in a texteditor (it's in C:\Documents and Settings<username>\Application Data\Inkscape). Search for "documentoptions". Just delete the whole <group ... /> that contains "documentoptions" and hopefully it will show up the next time you run Inkscape!

Works fine on Inkscape 0.45+devel, built Dec 14 2006
