Font not showing up in Inkscape 0.47pre1, built Jul 3 2009
I thought all the ttf fonts not showing up was cleared up in an earlier version. I was trying to use this font in the build Inkscape 0.47pre1, built Jul 3 2009, and it will not show up. Can any one shed light on what may be happening?
It also does not show up in Inkscape 0.46, built Apr 1 2008
Those of use with personal die cutting machines are really lost when we cannot use the perfect font! I know it is silly but with over 17,000 fonts, we really find the perfect one and really want to use it.
Thanks Bibi

With Inkscape 0.46+devel on Fedora fc11 x86_64, there is no problem and the font is shown correctly. Regards
I have the same problem in Windows XP. I have downloaded the font into the \Windows\Fonts\ directory and standard Microsoft programs are recognizing the font, but Inkscape does not recognize it.
Yes this was a big problem at one time with fonts that had a non-alphabetic character in its name, however the Inkscape folks figured out that one, but this font is one that will not work. If we can continue to send them .ttf that are not correctly showing up, maybe they can trace it down. My font is installed and Inkscape is not recognizing it.

On OS X 10.5.8 there is no problem with Inkscape 0.46+devel r22028: the font appears in the font list and can be used as shown in jean-maurice's screenshot. OOo 3.1 also recognizes it.
On the other hand the font does _not_ work in common OS X applications like TextEdit (RTF text editor) or Stickies. This indicates to me that the font is somehow not in a standard format(?). Maybe someone with FontForge (or any other decent font tool) installed can have a look and analyze the font?
