Hi,
Does anybody know why we have no packahes in https://launchpad.net/~inkscape.dev/+archive/stable
?
Alexandre Prokoudine http://libregraphicsworld.org
To Inkscape Dev,
I seen nightly thought that was the main one. If you would like I can create inkscape stable packages and put in there
no problem at all. If that is OK I will start ASAP unless the answer is no.
Regards, Leo Jackson

Hi Leo,
If you would like to take that on, I don't think anyone would say no. :) As of right now, the Stable PPA being empty is of no use to users. Especially those who might be a couple versions of Ubuntu (and Inkscape) behind.
Cheers, Josh

@Leo - thanks for looking into this. If possible, please try to use the same packaging recipe as the daily builds PPA
@Josh - We've backported the Ubuntu package of inkscape 0.48.2 to all supported desktop releases of Ubuntu now. Hopefully, that will help in the meantime.
