and the vi.po file there was the old one. ??

I'm using the same url. You might have forgotten to do an update. Anyway, the SVN version is ok.

~/inkscape/po$ msgfmt -c -v vi.po 2512 translated messages, 451 fuzzy translations, 257 untranslated messages.

It's strange: I had updated it, but the file showed all translated strings on msgfmt. I tried updating it again, and it did the same. Only after I deleted my local file, then updated yet again, did I get the modified file.

Ah well, all's well that ends well, I suppose. ;)
