Problem with accented characters in toolbar submenus (Inkscape 1.0 translation)
Hello!
I have noticed that using accented characters in the toolbar menus is a bit problematic.
In the current Italian translation it.po the string "parte da metà" is displayed as in the attached screenshot Accent_char_menu_current.png
I replaced it with a UTF-8 character, the string is now "parte da metà" and this is the result is shown in Accented_char_menu_utf8.png
What should I do to fix this? I'm missing some quotation marks?

Hi Firas, are you certain that the po file has been saved as UTF-8? In a Linux terminal you can use the 'file' command liek this:
#> file es.po es.po: GNU gettext message catalogue, UTF-8 Unicode text
