Hi, Sam.

1) Assuming the enlarged portion wouldn't be interactive or anything, you can simpy first create a clone of your diagram (Alt+D), enlarge it, draw another rectangle on top of the clone, select both the rectangle and clone and then select *object --> clip *or *object --> mask *from the menu.
