Given that I think that we should: 1- disqualify (politely) those which did not use the requires ones (SVG filters and/or Live Path Effects) 2a- give bonus points to those which used several of these features and/or 2b- put a mention of those in the voting entry text and clearly state that the inclusion of such features should be valued in the rating (maybe add a note next to each entry about which of those features are included)
What do people think?
I don't know about disqualifying those that didn't use the effects, but at least it would be nice to have a blurb for each that explains what effects were used. I would prefer to vote for one that uses as many new features as possible (while still standing on aesthetic merits), but at the moment I have no idea which those are.
Yeah, I don't know about disqualifying either. I think that in the future we'll encourage more use of new features. It seems like a number of them used filters and the 3d box tool was surprisingly really popular.
As for which submissions used whatever features, it would realistically be good practice for all entrants to include that info in the summary of that deviation (where it takes you if you click those thumbnails). I did it on mine, but don't know that it's the best format.
