I find that some keyboard shortcuts don't work, for example the # (Grid) and | (Guides) ones. May be it is because I'm using a Spanish- ISO keyboard on an English system?
* I'm using Inkscape v0.48.2 on an iMac iSight —last and most powerful PowerPC iMac— running Mac OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard).

It is a known problem that the default keyboard shortcut definitions don't work well with some keyboard layouts (on Macs, it's mostly with keys which - depending on the current input source (keyboard layout) - can only be accessed with the <option/alt> modifier pressed).
