Hi all, as I believe there's no real list of important environment variables used by Inkscape and it's dependencies I just put together http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Environment_variables I hope this will be of help to everybody running Inkscape (users and developers alike) and prove as a useful reference. I would like to develop an extension to start with in python 3+ on windows, and I am not very sure of where to start. I just read the extension requirements which said the extensions need python 2. It also said that it was a little out of date. If need be I would be willing to modify it for python 3. I have programmed C/ C++ and half a dozen other languages over the years, my main problem is that I don't have a compiler for Window. I do have a Centos 7 machine which I could set up a dev environment, but my use is on a windows system. My aim is to do away with my need for MS Visio which I don't like very much and do my drawing parametrically. Regards Stephen
