Inkscape 1.0.1
by Marc Jeanmougin
Inkscape 1.0.1
==============
Inkscape 1.0.1 is now released.
You can download it at:
https://inkscape.org/release/inkscape-1.0.1/
then, if you want to support Inkscape, donate to the project at:
https://inkscape.org/support-us/
----------------
Inkscape 1.0.1 is mainly a stability and bugfix release. It also comes
with a few new features that hadn't been stable enough to make it into
Inkscape 1.0:
* Selectors/CSS dialog is now available
* Experimental color-managed PDF export through Scribus
* Many crash fixes and bugs fixed
-----------------------------
Join an Inkscape project team
-----------------------------
Inkscape is always happy to welcome new contributors in various areas:
code, docs, translation, UX, bug triaging, or even outreach!
The main ways to get involved are listed on https://inkscape.org/contribute/
and you can get in touch with us on https://chat.inkscape.org/
Thanks to everyone involved in this release!

Mario Voigt - about perspective
by Andrew Kurn
This is first to say 'thanks' to Mario Voigt for updating the
Clonesp extension.
I'm busy these days, so I'm not keeping up with what I should
be doing for Inks. However, it seems to me that the fact that
there are now two developers on this project means that it should
go to Gitlab (or a similar).
I hardly know anything about Gitlab, so I don't know where to
start. If someone would like to give me a pointer or two, I
could try to get that going. Or if someone can simply do it for
me (and Mario) that would be welcome.

unless there are any objections
by NASA Jeff
I'm going to raise a bug for a developers meeting to discuss animation and
a couple of other related topics I have on the backlog.
I've already had a chat with a few developers and got some feed back from
other interested parties as well as having long discussions with a-l-e from
the Scribus team so I can pretty much fill out an agenda, but I'm open to
suggestions.
