autosave on crash

During an Inkscape crash a popup-window was displayed announcing that backups of the open files have been created automatically. This is a very nice feature, however I can't find the files on the system (I tried with locate after an update of its database). Is there a known problem with the function or the filename? Just inform you all that I commited a patch that solves [ 1513218 ] Win32: ask if old menus.xml should be kept when installing priority 7 bug. I found the solution while installing latest vlc ;-) Adib.

will there be new test versions for 0.45/win32?

Hello, Since the bug hunting has begun for the 0.45 version, I have a question about the download locations listed in http://www.inkscape.org/download/ - The versions at http://inkscape.modevia.com/win32-snap/?M=D are desperately old (25 oct 2005) - http://cortijodelrio.net/~inkscape/win32/ is dead for more than a month already - http://inkscape.modevia.com/win32/?M=D the most fresh version is from the 10 dec 2005 Will there be everyday compiled fresh win32 test versions to play with in the close future? Hi, Just to make sure... http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/SVG_Tiny_Compliance states that massifr started working on support for SVG fonts a while ago. Is there any update on this? Alexandre

Inkscape 0.45 - About Screen and moving forward

Hi All, I'm going to be setting up the About Screen contest on deviantART again. When should the deadline be? Any special requests for required new techniques/features other than using Blur in it? One more thing... before I can start this contest I need to make sure we have reasonably up-to-date packages available for the big 3 platforms. Win32 is 2 days old which is definitely okay. Linux Autopackage is 10 days old which isn't too terribly bad. OSX is a problem though as it's 2 months old as of today. Anyone know who to contact for the OSX stuff? The sooner I get responses, the sooner we can get the ball rolling on this. :) -Josh
