Hello! The bug is here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1242170 The two proposal fixes, a bit outdated need a decision about it: The problem is: Lpe dont work on grouped shapes The fixes proposals also fix the problem of use diferents LPE inside the same tree group. Proposal A *Cons: Convert shape elements to paths. Proposal B *Cons: Some bouding box problems on LPE with shapes Star, Ellipse and Spiral whith a LPE dont be affected by group LPE. The cuestion: Is mandatory keep the sapes as shapes or can be converted to path - maybe only if inside a group, maybe in all cases, like in 0.48 Surre the code needs review, is a old code but I need to get feedback about direction. Bug: Pattern disappears on high zoom-levels or bitmap export

Hello, I'm using lithographic patterns from the USGS in my project. Download can be found hier: https://blogs.otago.ac.nz/si-geology/resources/illustrationgraphics-resourc… One of the patterns is used in the attached file. If you open this file an zoom into the filled object, the pattern disappears at zoomlevel 3000%. Also the pattern is not exported to PNG in "higher" resolutions (say 2000px width) This behaviour crashes my project completely :( Is there a solution? Greetings Slub

css layers

Hi there, Please excuse if this has already been discussed, i could not find anything similar in the archives. So, I have a proposal, as svg natively does not really support "layers" but inkscape seems to mimic layers by adding a group with custom xml-attributes. How about trying to be closer to native svg/xml standard and have something similar to a "layer" (common fill, stroke,... attributes) solved by using class-attributes? Currently to me there seems to be no way to list all objects belonging to a group except for the xml-editor. That makes it really hard to use, but anyhow i saw there is an object manager coming in 0.92 With the current design i can't guess a way to have groups of objects being on different layers. Meassure tool

Hi to all. I have in mind work on meassure tool. The goal is: * Allow reposition of meassure * Store the last meassure start/end point to redraw it on tool reload. * Make it optionaly visible in others/some tools and maybe editable * Convert to Gides * Snapping, not sure is a good idea, but need to learn more about snapping. State of cxxtest -> Google Test transistion?

I'm interested in the state of the transition from cxxtest to Google Test framework. 1. How many % of all tests have been re-written to use Google Test instead of cxxtest? 2. Does make test run Google Test suite or cxxtest or both? 3. Is the Google Test framework software included in the repository or a dependency? If the latter, what package? I guess what I'm looking for is a wiki page with the general status / how to details on this refactoring effort... I wouldn't mind spending some time helping on this as a way to learn about Inkscape's source/architecture, and Google Test framework. Cheers /Olof
