Call For Clipartists

With Myrk's nifty ribbon.svg submission and Simarilius' SVG Signs contribution this morning, we're now officially ready to receive SVG clipart collections for Inkscape. Clipart is extremely important for users of vector art programs, because it can save a lot of time when making certain kinds of drawings, and to provide examples users can start with when making their own creations. I think it'd be most effective (and fun) to leave this process fairly open ended and flexible, since that's how we like to do things in this project. What we plan to do is treat each clipart "collection" as it's own discrete package, that is welcome to set its own rules and conventions as its contributors see fit. We'll distribute a few with Inkscape itself, others can be provided as separate add-ins. So, if you want you can establish your own collection of just your own work, or can collaborate with other users for a group effort. You can set up some organization and standards for quality control or to maintain a theme, or leave it freeform. Whatever works best for you. guides toggle and other fixes

bug: win32: Saving to wrong location.

Hi guys, Found another one, If you save an svg somewhere then import an image from somewhere else when you do save at a later point it saves the file to the location you imported from not the location you saved it too. opened a tracker item on it, #897117. cheers John __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Nathan says he may be able to fix it sometime. offset path inaccuracies

Hello, I was playing with the linked offset on some very simple paths and found it didn't create a smooth path: http://members.rogers.com/rcrosbie/svg/king_solomon_knot.jpg http://members.rogers.com/rcrosbie/svg/king_solomon_knot.svg Are there inaccuracies in the linked offset algorithm, or is it something to do with the paths and the values I was trying? I find similar things happen with the dynamic offset as well, using the same values, but it's not as obvious. This was from an svg file I saved 3 years ago using Jasc Web Draw. Great job with the 0.37 release BTW.
