Hi to all. Im trying to format code with Clang formater and Astyle. Both give me diferent results. I find some GTK::Widget chains -connect- don`t indented by Astyle. Clang format indent with 2 spaces and Astyle with 4. Cheers, Jabier.

Hi to all. Im running clang format like this: clang-format-3.3 -i -style=file src/live_effects/lpe-fillet-chamfer.cpp And return: Unknown style file, using Google style seems not ok... regards, Jabier.

Stable PPA not built correctly

Hi, I've noticed a problem with the stable PPA. It seems to contain incorrectly built packages. The resulting .deb files from the build are approximately 12 KiB. They contain no binary data. The build logs leave a clue to the problem: chroot-autobuild/build/buildd/inkscape_0.48.5+31~ubuntu14.10.1_amd64.deb: dpkg-deb: file `chroot-autobuild/build/buildd/inkscape_0.48.5+31~ubuntu14.0.1_amd64.deb' contains ununderstood data member data.tar.xz , giving up You can see more details here <https://code.launchpad.net/~inkscape.dev/+archive/stable/+build/6118562>.

Review: C++ for Inkscape Core

Dear Developers, I've been asked to review a large patch by Liam which is an attempt to C ++ify the core of inkscape, removing inkscape-private.h and making objects. I'm going through the code as requested, but I feel this patch will need more than me to give it the OK. Can I request some of the bright peers working on C++ification to give the patch their blessings too? Undefined but declared hash<> template causing C++11 trouble

Hi Krzysz, The following lines in ui/tool/node.h are causing trouble with gcc 4.9 C++11: #if HAVE_TR1_UNORDERED_SET namespace std { namespace tr1 { template <typename N> struct hash< Inkscape::UI::NodeIterator<N> >; } } #endif Is it OK to remove those? If I comment them out, all seems to work fine. I cannot find the specialization definition anywhere, so seems only a fwd decl? regards, Johan

Hello The last bug was fixed in the Windows devlibs, so I tagged the 0.48.5 release and posted the tarballs to Launchpad. They should be available for download now. https://launchpad.net/inkscape/0.48.x/0.48.5 As usual, the announcement should wait until packages for major platforms are ready.
