Wanted: Windows user to review inkscape.nsi patches

Release wardens are supposed to act as reviewer for the patches posted to the tracker, but I don't have access to a Windows machine, nor any other reason to learn NSIS. Can we have someone to act as release warden for inkscape.nsi ? Documentation for NSIS files is at http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Docs/ so you don't really need to have any previous NSIS experience to be a better reviewer than I. (I haven't yet asked Kees as to whether he has access to a Windows machine or any familiarity with NSIS.) pjrm.

Waiting until after pre3, then moving to 2nd place. - [ishmal, joncruz] Release notes for Ishmal and Joncruz still not filled out. - [ishmal] Win98 crash Status: if ishmal finds an easy fix, we need to take it, else we release with the bug - [pjrm] Possible W3C test regressions. Status: Peter needs to take a look and verify/fix. - [theadib, ishmal] Bug 1230742 (etc/gtk-2.0/gtkrc broken in windows build) Status: may be fixed with: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1241293&group_id=… Needs Linux cross-compile testing. - [?] untranslatable strings in Transformation & Swatches dialog Status: strings need to be found and localized. -- Kees Cook @outflux.net

Hello guys, Bryce and I both presented yesterday which went quite well. We hung out with Carl Worth, Keith Packard and others after our talks and discussed Cairo, etc. More on that later... Anyhow, people here at ddc are asking about the status of the Inkscape release? Where is the release at? Also, is there anyone Bryce and I should talk to about libraries, etc? We can do some mediating... (www.desktopcon.org) Man, it is great to get recognition for Inkscape and Open Clip Art Library. Hey guys, So, it looks like Bulia has fixed the transform bug, and the nsi installer has been checked in... when should the last planned prerelease be? (assuming that it is 'bug free' of course :) ) --Ted

Here's the latest stats. With the activity related to the release preparations, many of the numbers have changed significantly. Notably, the translation ratio has improved from 47 to over 53 percent, and the bug open/total ratio has improved from 17% down to 13%.
