I finally got around to importing Andreas Nilsson's new icons (I tweaked them a little and added some more that I made), and fixing the code to load them. It's great! :) Andreas, can you re-examine the XML editor icons -- I sent some comments about them a while back. As far as David's whole-replacements, I've got a fall-back icon path preference thingy in the works, so hopefully we'll be able to give a list of files to go searching for icons through. :) Here's the list of pixmaps still needing to be replaced: add_xml_element_node.xpm \ add_xml_text_node.xpm \ delete_xml_attribute.xpm \ delete_xml_node.xpm \ duplicate_xml_node.xpm \ set.xpm \ writing_mode_lr.xpm \ writing_mode_tb.xpm -- Kees Cook @outflux.net

Hi, I just found this page: <http://www.gnu.org/software/for-windows.html>. It lists - not Inkscape, no, BUT - Sodipodi. I reckon this comes from Inkscape not being listed in the Free Software Directory <http://directory.fsf.org/>. I've just submitted a request to add an entry for Inkscape. I listed Bryce Harrington <you_know_your_email@...643... ;o)> as the maintainer and developer. The keyword list brings me to the suggestion of not just mentioning "open source editor", but also "free software editor" in the HTML keywords. Just a suggestion... Greetings, Felix

Since this came up in some thread, that there was a problem about knowing the line height in flowtext, I tried to dig up what ever I could find about it. If I understand correctly, the line-height in SVG is supposed to be defined via the line-height css attribute just like as in html. The property index at http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG/propidx.html links to http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-CSS2/visudet.html#propdef-line-height . I might be getting something totally wrong (probably I am, because I'm not sure, how you could have missed this), but to me it seems, that this is actually, how the line-height is defined for svg as well. I'll do some more research on this, if needed. I'd really like to see flow-text in 0.41, you see. David

I would like to see it fixed before the release; a high-priority bug ought to be filed if one has not been already. -mental

changing font size within text

Hey guys, just wondering, if there's a way to change the font size within a <text> element. Basically I guess I need a <tspan> but they create new lines, which I don't want. Thanx in advance! David
