Well, we're really close. We need 1 more bug to get to our 10%, and there are two candidates for being fixed (the more the better though). I think that we'll probably release at the end of the weekend, or very early next week. If you're someone who is translating Inkscape, if you could get the translations in by the end of the weekend I think we can get them into 0.38. I don't think any strings will be changed between now and then. Also, I've updated all the .po files in CVS - so they should have all the strings in them now. Thanks, Ted

Pero... ¿qué es un rip? Ahí disculparás, pero lo del diseño gráfico no es lo mío, y por ello no conozco la jerga. Me imagino que es algo particular de las imprentas, así que si puedes experimentar con eso e Inkscape, ¡pues sería fabuloso reportar los resultados en el grupo! Hasta donde yo sé, Inkscape sí tiene unos problemas para exportar a PostScript, y es que nadie se ha dado a la tarea de actualizar ese filtro de salida. Scribus también ha tenido bastante progreso, y lo mejor de todo es que hay buenas relaciones entre la gente de Scribus y la de Inkscape, porque quieren asegurar que exista buena comunicación de archivos entre uno y otro producto. There are. Look up Ctrl+[ and Ctrl+] in the reference. There is a problem with them, however: these keys are only valid in selector, while the buttons on the toolbar call a different function and are global verbs without shortcuts. Those global rotates are broken (try rotating several selected objects, it rotates each one separately instead of rotating the selection as a whole) and need to be removed anyway. And the reason why the [, ] rotates are not global is that they work differently in node editor (rotate node handles). So what needs to be done is this: - rewrite the global rotate verbs so that they find out the current tool and call different functions in node tool and in all other tools. An example of such tool-sensitive verb is Ctrl+A whence you can borrow the check code. - assign the Ctrl+[] shortcuts to these global verbs and remove these keys from select-context.cpp. This might be a good project for you :) _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your e-mail with MSN Premium. annoying usability with selection

Does anyone else find it annoying that when using another tool, you can't select all with ctrl-a, and shift into selection mode? Also, I wonder if there could be shortcut keys associated with rotate 90 deg CW and 90 deg CCW. I will forward up stream to whomever creates the Industrial Theme. Arg. I really do not believe this is our bug, as we are using standard GTK widgets for the rulers, right?
