Aurium (and EVERYONE else), People who do not have explicit permission to commit right now need to please respect the rules during release and NOT make commits until the announcement has been made that trunk has opened up again for general development. Aurium, I am going to back out your recent change (not the Authors one) as we are beyond Feature freeze & in String freeze. Cheers, Josh

Changed a string

Hello Translators, I am so sorry to have to tell you that I had to change a string during String Freeze as it was not clear enough in English. Again, it relates to the Save page in preferences. Given that this happened we will give you all a few extra days for translations. It would be great if the translations could be completed by next Wednesday. Cheers, Josh

archutil error in win build?

When I try to build the latest svn (22396) under 32-bit windows, I get an error - Make error line 413: executeCommand : could not create process : the system cannot find the file specified. Make error line 413: <staticlib> problem: When I look at the build.xml file, line 413 says - <staticlib command="${archutil}ar crsv" file="${build}/libinkscape.a"> I was going to change the value of archutil but I am not sure what it should be set to? Currently it is set to - <property name="archutil" value=""/> Any ideas? Joshua, release warden, I do not have "the" solution for https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/273767 But I have a fix in post #6 of this issue that might prevent further crashing by range overflow. The other one has a deeper impact in everything so I can not judge how it behaves on the other end. PLs review the first patch and commit. Imported PNG file not displayed.

Hi, In the past few days, importing a PNG file seems to have been broken. The svg:image data seems to be correct but the file is not displayed. Does anybody else see this? Tested with latest SVN on Fedora 9 and 11. Tav

Inkscape SVN crashes on startup

Hi, I build Inkscape from recent SVN and it crashes on startup. I have Ubuntu 9.04 and build Inkscape with: make clean CFLAGS='-g -O0' CXXFLAGS='-g -O0' ./configure --prefix=/home/tobias/dev/bin/ make make install This is the console output if I try to start Inkscape: http://paste.ubuntu.com/284467/ And this is what I get if I start it with gdb: http://paste.ubuntu.com/284470/ And this is the output from valgrind: http://paste.ubuntu.com/284474/ Regards, Tobias

Path reading: implicit lineto

Hi all, Attached is a patch to fix reading of rare svg strings. This fixes one of the cxxtests, and also helps for the basic/markers.svg testfile in the testsuite. "M 1,2 ... z L 1,1" is now correctly interpreted as "M 1,2 ... z M 1,2 L 1,1", instead of ignoring the 2nd path. Ciao, Johan
