Okay, I made a couple changes to the Makefile.PL and moved the .pm's into the lib dir and the script into the scripts/ dir, where they should go. Also I fixed up the authors list (good of you to include all of them!) This package installs ok on my machine. I had installed all my prerequisites like this: # cpan -i Math::Matrix # cpan -i Text::PDF::File # cpan -i PDF::API2 Then I could run pdf2svg. Again though, my results with it were not very good. Probably these issues could be fixed, however it would require knowledge of Perl to do so. I think it may be better to focus on using Scribus for PDF import instead though. What do you think? Has anyone tried this for producing swf files from svg? http://robla.net/1996/svg2swf/ Looks pretty old, but if it works it might be interesting as a plugin. Bryce

inkscape crashes and freezes gdb when clicking on a square that is rotating

Hi in inkscape cvs when I create a square and start rotating it with ] and while it is rotating i click on it, 50% of the time inkscape segfaults. As it does it also freezes my terminal. Because of that I couldn't really make a bug report since I have to switch to ctrl+alt+f1 and kill gdb from it and all my output disappears.

Bugs making it hard to translate tutorials

Hi! While i translated the basic tutorial i came across some things. Some are caused by KDE, some might be bugs, some are caused by my german keyboard layout. As there will be customizable keybindings, some problems might dissolve gracefully... :) There should be default keybindings for different keyboardlayouts then. Well, here are the trouble makers: :) - There is no gradient tool if i press ctrl-f1 - the edit menu should contain the Esc key for unselcting all. - alt+klick does not work with kde, its used there. if its possible, id override the kde setting. if not, there should be a second way to do that. Maybe Alt-Gr. (meta?) - i cant use ` or shift- ` ... in fact, i need to press shift to create an ` . Hard to press Shift+` if you need shift to create ` :) so, no zooming with that key! if we will have localized defaults, id recommend our # / ' key or the ä/ö keys for german. - rotate slow with shift+[ ] does not work. i need to use alt-gr+8 or 9 for [ ]. maybe that causes trouble. oh, btw... we could scale in one direction with crtl-alt+numpad... RFE for that? :) hm... and shift to scale in two directions? okay... think that was it... Caliga

The japanese has in the po directory <ja> but in the tutorials <jp> Is there an explanation ? I would like to filter all files depending on one language. All <de> or <fr> or <ja> files. Thx, Adib.
