Creating a separate GitLab merge request

I recently made a merge request for changes to the Beginners' Guide intro chapter. I'm making changes to the next chapter and committing them, but I want them to go to a separate merge, because Maren wants a separate MR per chapter. I don't see how that's possible. Pipelines failing

I found another problem I'm afraid. I've been able to commit changes to my fork all of yesterday with all pipelines passing. But today it may appear that my commits all went through, because I can see the changes reflected in the GitLab preview, but almost all the pipelines failed. The error logs are too generic to understand the problem. My project ID is 51182168, named manuals_DMilkes. Would you be able to diagnose this? Changing 1.3 interface color

Pipeline issue fixed; required to rebase source branch

Hi all, I found the offending issue that caused the pipelines to fail. The version of ReStructuredText you're using doesn't recognize the :underline: tag. I only wanted to use that to emphasize a UI element with an underscore, but it's not essential. What, in fact, is the RST version being used? I started the process of requesting a merge but in the middle of the page there is a statement: "Merge blocked: the source branch must be rebased onto the target branch." Inkscape repo broken links?

Hi Maren, I was working on my fork all day yesterday and today with no problem. I can also browse the production repo in GitLab. However, when I click any Edit on GitLab link from the published manual, I get a 404 error. I hope I didn't do anything to cause this. I've used Inkscape for a few personal things and I'd like to contribute to your documentation. I clicked the bug report link regarding the web page that explains the difference between vector and bitmap drawings (#1258842), but I'm getting Page Not Found. Is that project still open? Greetings and questions about Inkscape Beginners' Guide

Hello, Greetings! I'm Wen-Wei Kao (web handle ltlnx) from Taichung, Taiwan. I would love to contribute to translating the Inkscape Beginners' Guide to Chinese, however I'm not sure what's the procedure of translating the guide into a new language. Should I fork the repo and start translating directly, or are there other ways of doing it? Thanks in advance.
