Having just tried this with Batik, I think it reveals a fundamental misunderstanding I had about viewBox. So, for the document root it appears that the relationship between pixel and non-pixel measurements can never be guaranteed to be fixed between different UAs/display devices. Doesn't this mean that Sodipodi should probably be using pixel measurements, not real-world units, for the height/width properties of the root SVG element? (and probably using e.g. sodipodi:height and sodipodi:width, or possibly sodipodi:dpi to derive the real-world measurements the UI uses?) Otherwise, in other SVG UAs, the relationship between the drawing and page size is not guaranteed to be the same. -mental

debian packages for inkscape 0.36

Hi alltogether! I prepared inkscape packages for the debian distribution. The source-packages and one for sparc can be downloaded from http://honk.physik.uni-konstanz.de/~wolfi/inkscape But I've seen that there are debian packages for i386 and powerpc available from sourceforge. Color selector changes

I've just put in a change to all the color selector files to switch them to C++. Things seem to be working better now due to centralizing code and event cleanup. I'm working through the entered bugs, but keep an eye out if anything seems strange, or has compile problems.

per-view actions

I've finished the first stage of making actions per-view instead of global. Note that to accomplish this I've ended up changing the API for registering new verbs. More changes are forthcoming. (if perhaps not tonight becaues I'm drop-deadtired) -mental

Sorry for the fluster about the spiral tool. Not one of my better decisions, though I did intend to notify the mailing list, I've been under a lot of pressure the past few days and I'm getting a bit sloppy... -mental
