Hi Friends, I'm just getting ready to add a new item to the FAQ (https://inkscape.org/learn/faq/) re CMYK support (getting a lot of questions lately, and tired of typing out the same answer over and over). Anyway, this item caught my eye (https://inkscape.org/learn/faq/#will-there-be-inkscape-100-what-would-it-be). It occurs to me that someone might want to update that answer, since 1.0 is finally on the horizon! I can't write it myself. But if anyone wants to send me the text, I'd be glad to edit it in. question about extra galleries

Hi Friends, I think I've asked about this before, but the answer didn't sink in, and it still confuses me. When I look at the Tutorials filter in the gallery (https://inkscape.org/gallery/=tutorial/) at the bottom of the page, in the right column, are a bunch of extra galleries, all empty. Similarly, the SVG Tool filter (https://inkscape.org/gallery/=svg-tool/) also has a bunch of empty galleries at the bottom. Inkscape Template File filter (https://inkscape.org/gallery/=inkscape-template-file/) has a couple of them too. I don't immediately see how those are being created. I would guess someone found how to do it, and just made some galleries. But if they're empty, I wonder if they should be removed? Thanks, brynn

Going further with videos about using gitlab

Just seen this video de other day: https://inkscape.org/news/2019/02/02/step-step-video-launched-how-report-is… And the pace and level of detail feels perfect. Although obvious for many of us which work or regular basis with gitlab, it shows it needs several steps to open an issue. We in GNOME use gitlab too, and found many people start to contribute more due to gitlab simplicity, but we can always do it better. Is it possible to get the sources of the video to create a similar one about MR (Merge requests) ? I guess I should ping C. Rogers about this, but not sure at all so I post this question here.

Hi, could someone help web content editors by browsing the website and looking for places that require updating? I think it's probably FAQ, the bug report page, contribute testing, and develop pages. Then there must also be some Wiki pages. I'm currently a bit busy with other stuff, so I'd appreciate if someone gave me a list with links + screenshots or similar. Or, if someone updated the pages, that would be cool - but then I'd still need a list (preferably with screenshots), for being able to notify translators. screencasters video tutorials on the website

Hi Friends, Relatively recently, the screencasters.heathenx website was closed. I just found out about it a month or 2 ago. Mark (aka Xav, on InkscapeForum) has acquired copies of most if not all of them. Little by little, he has been uploading them to YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9iOkFutSFbcTCzQlyCr5Ig/videos I think he said he's been adding approx 3 per week. I've just edited the link on the Learn page (https://inkscape.org/learn/) of the website, and added a brief notation about the videos being added to YT. On the Video Tutorials page (https://inkscape.org/learn/videos/), where there was simply a link to that website, I deleted it. The reason I deleted it, is because I don't have time to do this myself. But I recall a year or maybe closer to 2 years ago someone was interested in adding individual videos (links to them, I mean) to that page. So I thought they (or anyone) might like to kind of keep track of what's been uploaded to YT, and choose the "Best of" and add them to the Video Tutorials page. If someone is interested to do this, but they don't already have access to edit the page, just reply to this message, and someone can get you set up to do that. If no on is interested, or has time right now, there are already other videos on the page. So I think it will be ok. But if anyone is interested, the best of those videos would be nice to include there. All best, brynn

Hi Friends, Regarding this image (which isn't flagged yet, because I didn't want it to get deleted before this question is answered) https://inkscape.org/~scramer89@...183.../%E2%98%85grandma-grandpa Mostly out of idle curiosity - it appears to be small, because when I click on it to zoom, it stays the same size (approx 1" x 2" onscreen). But I happened to notice the size is 4032x3024 (I guess is pixels? would be bigger than my screen). So I thought, "what the heck?". Decided to click Download button to see the real thing, and settle the discrepancy. Download button gives 403 Forbidden nginx/1.12.2. Interesting, Full Size button gives same. Should a JPG be downloadable? It seems like it should. But I want to confirm whether it needs a new Issue or not, before I make possibly unecessary work for mods on gitlab. Thanks, brynn
