Buenas Noches Haciendo un resumen de inkscape en español: Hay que mandar un mail preguntando quienes quisieran participar, y en caso de ser muchos, se arma una lista oficial de inkscape en castellano y/o español. ¡Aquí se cumple, el primer requisito!. Por el "no": no hacer nada. Por el "si": Enviar mail a: delafe@...400... Poner en Asunto: "si Oficial" Segunda opción: Y en el caso de ser pocos, se puede armar una lista no oficial de inkscape en castellano y/o español igual. De mi parte, no se nada de "inkscape", pero cuando nací (hace 55 años) tampoco sabia escribir. Por el "no": no hacer nada. Por el "si": Enviar mail a: nperiz@...400... Sept 7, 2005 UTC - Release 0.17 of the Open Clip Art Library (http://www.openclipart.org) is now available on-line for download as an individual package consisting of over 5000 images submitted by over 500 international artists. The size of this release successfully exceeds the months "OCAL 5K Pledge" of 5000 images thanks to the contributions by new and old contributors. A quick overview of this release: * Library consists of over 5000 images! * New Clip Art Browser by Greg Steffensen * Document Management System (DMS) now linked into website for testing * New clipart_package CVS module for building packages * Added RPM packages of the release Due to the success of the "OCAL 5K Pledge," the next goal is for 10K images (10,000 clip art images) by the end of 2005. Hi, Is there a way to publish a document as package including the images that are linked to the document. It would make it far more easy to send inkscape work to someone per email and also to move documents to other file structures. I know inkscape is able to show a base encoded image but this makes inkscape very slow, so this is probably not the right method. If not would it be possible to create a extention which could save a file as tarball or zip with the images in it? If so I will try to create it? swatches?

Hey guys! I don't quite get it. I kinda assume that I'm just not understanding how I can add colours to a custom swatches palette. I mean swatches have been around for quite a while now, but so far I don't see the point in it, if I can't create my own palette with custom colours. Please help me with this. It's important for icon themes, publishing, well everything. Is is seriously not yet possible? David

Xar file format (aka Flare) and Xarlib

Before I forget.... It seems Xara was at one point trying to compete with Flash and released their Flare file format which later came to be known as Xar. The anti SVG and SWF proganda is almost funny and it is about as interesting as reading a file format specification can be. The Xar specifications are available on the Xara website http://www.xara.com/support/docs/webformat/spec/ There code seems to be available for processing the file format and the terms of use do not seem draconian so it might be possible to make use of it and maybe allow Inkscape to import Xara files. Given how interested bulia is in Xara perhaps he is already aware of this but I hadn't heard any mention of it before (on the list/wiki/bugtracker) and thought it might be of interest. Win32 inkview in 0.43 release ?

Hi, inkview compiles fine under Win32. At least it was not part of the distributions. As is has been ask already do want to ship inkview in the next release ? The changes in the makefile are minimal. Adib.

gtkmm .exe and Windows

Hi there, While not a strictly Inkscape-related question, Inkscape is one of the best gtkmm/c++ apps around (or at least I hope, as I noticed you started with gtk/c), so I thought you might be able to help. I'm experimenting with gtkmm and have the simplest program as outlined in the docs compiled as a Windows .exe, here's the code: #include <gtkmm.h> int main(int argc, char* argv[]) { Gtk::Main kit(argc, argv); Gtk::Window window; Gtk::Main::run(window); return 0; } My problem is that the resulting .exe opens the console Window along with the GUI, Inkscape doesn't do this, and I wondered how you achieved that. I know this list isn't for general Q&A, but if you have the time that'd be great, if not no worries. Kind regards, Hal

Wrong Color ...

Maybe i found a bug? Here is my SVG-File http://mindb.de/t/schatten-r.svg But if i render it as png i get this result: http://mindb.de/t/schatten.png As you can see (http://mindb.de/t/zoom.png) the bottom-shadow is darker thant the upper-shadow (and the right one darker than the left. Is this a bug?
