Hi Adam > so...the floss manuals bookstore is open for business...when shall we > put the inkscape book in it? Well, both EN and FR manuals need lots of work before adding them to the bookstore... I'll try to free some time after january 2009 for the french part, but I can't do anything before. The exported PDF is 200+ pages! Seems huge to me, even if the subject is complex and wide. What about making it more compact, so that it could be easier and faster to release as a finished manual? And work on the parts we put aside afterward? -- Nicolas

Thomas, Would you be interested in helping the documentation team by writing a short description of each effect and saving your images individually for use in the manual? (even just the images would help, but I figured if you're excited about it, you might want to help more ;) If you're interested, I can even help you write the chapter yourself in the Floss Manuals Inkscape manual. Hi, Looks like I'm not able to upload any image ("Invalid base directory: /var/www/floss_translat_translate/pub") and I can't get access to the directory with original images (we don't want to duplicate images that have no localizable content, do we?) Could this please be fixed? Alexandre

where u logged in? i have just set it up again..try it again and let me know if it does the same thing... Now it works.
