Appologies from: ted, karen, scislac Absent but mentioned: Tav, ryan gorley * Financial status (ted) - https://inkscape.org/budget/inkscape/ - pono: We've been a bit behind with PayPal imports, so there are ~2 months of donations that haven't been accounted for - pono: We're also continuing the work investigating other donation platforms. Unfortunately we hit a roadblock and are needing to reconsider our approach there. But hopefully we'll make some progress over the summer. - doctormo: We're expecting a bump from the release, previous months might not be a true guide. But it's ok, we can be patient. * Student programs (Outreachy, GSoC, etc) (@Tav) - Mc: yup, all's good afaict * Developer update / release feedback (Mc) - Mc: well, things are progressing I think - feedback for 1.2 is mostly positive, with some minor complaints of removed features * Vectors update (@ryangorley) - c.rogers: Nothing to report until after the meeting tomorrow. * Updated Fiscal Sponsorship Agreement (ted/karen) - Deffered, people not at the meeting * Administrator job process status (@doctormo/@pono) - pono: the list of questions has been finalized, but i need to get caught up on the email thread - prkos: The Job applications review are around about half done. We have come up with what we believe to be objective way to grade the applications - pono: Okay, I'll get those sent out today and then forward them back to the list as they come in - doctormo: I'm particually impressed by the spreadsheets you guys have drawn up to fairly rank according to what we want. I imagine most of the big things are going to be hiring and the release. It's that time of year: Background: ----------- René de Hesselle (RdH) has been preparing our OSX builds for a while, to do that he needs to be able to sign them with an Apple Developer Account. We have reimbursed him last year for this account so that he could continue to sign builds for Inkscape. This is to renew that account so he can continue to sign OSX builds. Proposal: --------- Reimburse RdH for the membership renewal expenses for Apple's developer program. This is estimated to cost 99€. Votes: ------ a. Reimburse RdH for the program b. PLC Meeting conflict

Hello Folks, For the scout campout that I'm helping drive to next weekend they've decided to leave early to try and avoid traffic in Dallas. That'll mean leaving before the PLC meeting. While pulling over with a car full of 12 year olds and having a board meeting sounds like fun, I think I'm not going to make it. If someone else wants to lead the meeting we can do that. Or I'm happy to reschedule for a week later (June 10th) and just do it then. Sorry for the conflict. Ted

Video Meeting Today

VOTE: Reimburse Martin for video music fee

Hey folks. This is just a quickie ask to reimburse Martin for footing the music license fee for our current release video. This is a one-time cost, and not setting any precedent for future video costs, or otherwise. Those in the video discussion on GitLab wanted a more permissive license for the new video music which would allow us to upload it with the video assets, so they can be used freely under CC-BY-SA. The decision was made in haste because the author of the music is going on holiday and needs the money now, and our release is only days away. There are lots of things we can do to prevent this in the future, but that's quite beside the point imho. This is an accidental cost that was covered by Martin, and I think it's not too much of a one-off ask to pay him back for it. Please vote: A. Reimburse 91 Euros to Martin for paying for a FOSS-friendly license for the current video music track for the project's benefit. B. Don't reimburse. Note: In the future we will be using exclusively CC-BY-SA or better from the beginning since we discovered that CC-BY-ND doesn't work for remixing or uploading to gitlab. Thanks!
