0.47 pre3 and OS X

Howdy Folks, I've got the latest pre release running on my computer. I've moved the configuration files (~/.inkscape and ~/.inkscape-etc) to prevent any odd config settings from causing any problems. When I started it, Inkscape said it might take a while for it to cache the fonts and what not. So I let it go and eventually a window popped open --- it took about an hour. Then I tried to use it and the interface was unresponsive. For example I resized the window, and it took about four minutes for the widgets and tools to be redrawn. I don't have any problem with the previous prereleases or version 0.46. Has anyone else had any similar problems? Is there anything I can do to figure out what's going on here? Hey Folks, Ok. Sorry, ignore that last post. I was using pre3-1, and I didn't realize there was a newer build. Pre3-2 starts up much quicker and is much more responsive. I've got another issue, but I'll make a separate post about that one. -- John M Harrold
