Hy
I download one Inkscape CVS snapshoot 2004-05-05 and extract it in ~/cvs,
so all files placed in ~/cvs/inkscape
Now I wish to update CVS tree and I type:
$ cd ~/cvs
$ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@...132...:/cvsroot/inkscape login
$ cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@...132...:/cvsroot/inkscape update
inkscape

Now I expect to see updated CVS tree, look at ChangeLog but nothing
changed. Date for all files is 05-05-2004, except CVS directory and files
Entries, Repository and Root, that is dated 29-05-2004 (today).
What's wrong? How to update CVS tree of Inkscape?
TIA

inkscape.pot
by Urke MMI
I need inkscape.pot to update my sr.po and finish translation to Serbian.
How to make inkscape.pot from CVS tree?
Why in inkscape/po/Makefile not exist one pot-update for creating fresh
inkscape.pot from current source?
TIA

FASD project: Online survey launched
by unknown@example.com
Dear Open Source developer
I am doing a research project on "Fun and Software Development" in which I kindly invite you to participate.
You will find the online survey under http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/. The questionnaire consists of 53 questions and you will need about 15 minutes to complete it.
With the FASD project (Fun and Software Development) we want to define the motivational significance of fun when software developers decide to engage in Open Source projects. What is special about our research project is that a similar survey is planned with software developers in commercial firms. This procedure allows the immediate comparison between the involved individuals and the conditions of production of these two development models. Thus we hope to obtain substantial new insights to the phenomenon of Open Source Development.
With many thanks for your participation,
Benno Luthiger
PS:
The results of the survey will be published under http://www.isu.unizh.ch/fuehrung/blprojects/FASD/.
We have set up the mailing list fasd@...128... for this study. Please see http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/mailinglist_en.html for registration to this mailing list.

Use TAB to navigate trough objects until insensitive object/group reached,
then make it sensitive in Item Properties.

Zoom out with right button
by Aewyn Vienna
Hello,
I post it to wishlist too, I write here just for say: it would be a very-very
useful feature: zoom out with right mouse button (after selecting zoom tool).
Now, inkscape use it for shift+left button (or +/-, but it is slow to get off
hand from mouse), gimp use ctrl+left (or +/-, but it doesnot work with
numeric keyboard).
So, it is hard a little bit to find "zoom out" after working hours with gimp
(for me).
Thanks!

I meant attribute, not the node. Otherwise you would delete the object.
