gradient bug?
by hjenkins
To reproduce:
1. Make multiple polygons, with different positions.
2. Select all of them.
3. Add a gradient.
4. Add a direct repeat to the gradient
The repeat only appears in one of the polygons, although the non-repeating
gradient appears in all polygons. The expected behaviour would be for the
gradient to repeat in all the polygons.
Sequentially deleting the gradients reveals that there is in fact a
separate gradient for each polygon, although they all have identical
co-ordinates.
Examples attached.

Inkscape booth at Kielux - help present Inkscape in Kiel!
by Maren Hachmann
Hi,
I'm looking for a second person to staff the Inkscape booth in Kiel at
Kieler Open Source und Linux Tage on September 20th and 21st this year.
As I'm also presenting at and co-organizing the event, it would be
really good if there were someone else who can help, even if only for a
few hours.
You don't need to be an expert in Inkscape, but you should bring some
motivation and enthusiasm for the program and its capabilities.
More info about the event is available at: https://kielux.de
There will also be some very interesting talks and workshops, and you'll
have direct access to Inkscape stickers (at least those are planned) and
fresh info about the latest developments :)
If you'd like to join me, please reply to this email!
Hope to hear from you

This is too sparse.
Please supply the text of error messages and context: what you
were doing when it failed.
Otherwise, no-one will have a chance of solving this one.

Re: Making Inkscpe SVGs accessible to screen readers
by Jonathan Busby
I was advised by Maren Hachmann that I should continue my thread on
the new Inkscape Users mailing list. The full archived thread can be
found here : https://sourceforge.net/p/inkscape/mailman/inkscape-user/thread/CAJc06ShU...
. Here are my last two posts :

Sorry for the belated reply. I found "NVDA" :
https://www.nvaccess.org/download/ . It's free to use, but not open
source and it only runs on Windows. It's better than nothing though :)

Thanks for the heads up :) Fortunately, the SVGs created using
Inkscape which I've uploaded to Wikimedia are not in thumbnail form on
the articles pages where they appear, at least, I don't think they
are.
