by Nadr Abou
Good morning,
I am writing to you about the Inkscape license, I wanted to ask you,
therefore, if it was necessary, in case I used inkscape to create 2d works
to be included in my commercial video game, some type of credits or
acknowledgments to Inkscape or if I could use it freely without nothing
additional
thank you for the help

Inkscape 1.2.1
by Marc Jeanmougin
Inkscape 1.2.1
==============
Inkscape 1.2.1 is now released.
You can download it at:
https://inkscape.org/release/inkscape-1.2.1/
then, if you want to support Inkscape, donate to the project at:
https://inkscape.org/support-us/
----------------
Inkscape 1.2.1 is mainly a stability and bugfix release,
fixing a nasty data loss crash with the export dialog, various other
crashes, and improving page export and some translations.
Thanks to everyone involved in that release!

by Dale Walton
Yes the export dialog is mis-behaving.
BTW my file folders come up very slowly in Ubuntu as well which is why I
was afraid of other problems.
Inkscape 1.2 (56b05e47e7, 2022-06-09, custom)
GLib version: 2.72.1
GTK version: 3.24.33
glibmm version: 2.66.2
gtkmm version: 3.24.5
libxml2 version: 2.9.13
libxslt version: 1.1.34
Cairo version: 1.16.0
Pango version: 1.50.6
HarfBuzz version: 2.7.4
OS version: Ubuntu Core 22
Last week the Inkscape version changed to 1.2 so I guess that was snap.
I am a casual Ubuntu user, so I don't understand your advice on fixing it.

Directory path problem exporting to png in Ubuntu
by Dale Walton
When I click on the directory and choose a directory, add the file name and
save, it exports to a directory /run/user/1000/doc/<8 character hexidecimal>
This then shows in the export file field with the entered file name at the
end.
This morning a file saved correctly, later this problem occered and the
files show in the correct directory but look like ".xdp_<file name>.ZDP701.
After my last attempts to correct the directory in the file field of the
export window, the files dont even show in the directory or in the Ubuntu
"Recent" directory, but exist in the /run... directory.
Is this an Inkscape problem, or do I have a rootkit, or both, or something
else??
