clip art upload fails

Hi, I tried to upload a svg-file to open clip art. It was made with inkscape, saved as plain svg. I followed exactly the instructions, everything seemd to be all right, but when I later tried to open it in "Incoming Clip Art", the file was empty. There were also a lot of other empty files. Only a very few files are not empty. I think, I did anything wrong. But I haven't any idea what. Can somebody here perhaps tell me the secret, how to upload? Regards, Hago

Question for snappers

To everyone who uses snapping in Inkscape: We plan to make _screen pixels_ (not px units) the default unit for snapping distance, so that e.g. snapping at 5 pixels remains the same distance on screen regardless of zoom. The question is, do you still need absolute (not zoom-independent) units for specifying snap distance? If so why? If there are no voices in defence of abs units, we will remove them altogether and use _only_ screen pixels. Ooh, I'd forgotten that 1.5 had SVG! OT: Using SVG with mozilla-firefox

Hey, Has anyone used SVG with firefox? Using porable firefox 1.5, (freshly downloaded) this gives me weird results! Both SVGs were created with InkScape, and are just plain (small) red triangles. The 'embed' version seems to work ok, but only the first 'object' triangle is displayed, and nothing after the 2nd - for example the word 'after' is never printed. UML logo

Hi list, I was looking for a UML logo in different formats, but I didn't find out a large one. So I did one in inkscape. I just want to know if is possible to publish it on the openclipart.org or we need to ask to OMG (http://www.omg.org/legal/graphical_style.htm) to use publish it ? I just believe that the UML logo is a trademark. It is possible to publish it as public domain without ask OMG ?
