Hello Is it possible to have a node that connects three line segments in the same point? Or to attach a line to a specific edge of a rectangle? Thanks, Jos

22.5 Angle constraint

A couple of months I posted about a 22.5 degree angle constraint, and someone replied that it would easily be implemented in an upcoming version of inkscape. Does anyone know if this has been added yet? Best, Seth

Snapping ellipses/circles/arcs

"failed to load the requested file" error message

When I use Inkscape to edit a SVG, when Inkscape launches it opens with just a black box. If I close it and try to open it again I get a "failed to load the requested file" error message. Any help would be great. Sometimes it seems Inkscape does not want to launch or stalls. When I try to launch again, it will stall for about 30sec, then open both request. Help!! OK I don't post here much, I live in lurkdom LOL I seem to remember something about being able to cut to a craft robo personal cutter direct from inkscape - tell me I did NOT dream this? (I'm 99.9% sure I even tested it but cannot find any emails to that effect??!!!????) if I did not dream this can anyone give me links etc to the version that does/did the cutting? Thanks Gaz(UK)

Inkscape SVG extension / CMYK support

Hi. I was wondering there is any place where I could have more information about feature support for Inkscape SVG vs plain SVG. Also, I believe SVG does not support CMYK colour space colours (as per Tavmjong Bah's brilliant userguide), and this is important for logos and even EPS export gets imported in Scribus with RGB colours.... Any news on the planned CMYK support? Cedric

I was hoping some of you fellow inkscape users may now how to accomplish this particular way manipulating text. Feature question, only current layer visible

Howdy, I would like Inkscape to show only contents of the active (selected?) layer, other layers would not be visible. Is it currently (svn) possible to achieve this? Thanks, Kent

Applying current transform to path

Does anyone know a way to make the current transforms on a path apply themselves to the nodes? In other words I want the "transform" attribute of the path to be the identity matrix. (after first applying itself to the nodes in the path) You can trick it to happen by Ctrl-K joining with another path, then splitting again but I was wondering if there was a more direct way.
