Libre Graphics Meeting (France March 17-19)

Hi all, Several of us Inkscapers will be attending the Libre Graphics Meeting in Lyon, France March 17-19 2006, and we'd love it if more Inkscapers and OCALers (both developers and users) could attend. If we can get a quorum, we can have an Inkscape/OCAL meeting there during the conference. The conference itself will be free to attend. In addition to Inkscape and OCAL, GIMP, Scribus, Blender, Xara, Little CMS and other projects will be there. An Inkscape comic!

Hi everybody! I finally did my first comic with Inkscape! It's at: http://www.webcomicsnation.com/mattjordan/realgorilla/series.php?view=singl… This one's a political comic, so apologies to those of you who may be of a different viewpoint. But Inkscape is great! The older comics in this group were not done with Inkscape, but I plan to use Inkscape from here on out. Matt

Line markers

I was just trying to draw a line and place markers either at the beginning or end. What I noticed is that irrespective of the color I choose for the stroke, the marker would always be black. Is there a way to change it? Can somebody give some pointers to this? I am attaching a test file with this mail. HELP!

Whilst not paying attention, I double clicked on one of the toolbars. It has now undocked itself and can roam around the desktop. How can I dock it back into the main application window? Thanks in advance.

Improved crispy icon set

Hi all, Following some suggestions and comments (specially bulia byak ones) about the icon set I've made, I try to improved them. Smaller file (about 500Kb - used and abused of clones and simpler drawings - less nodes and gradients) New icons for drawing tools - Pencil for freehand - Technical pen for bezier - Inkpen do calligraphic (already there in the first version) some minor refinements - shadows (ex: text tool) - new plus sign for XML icons - change the eye (layers) but keaped it bright open. - etc. Use of more neutral colors - ligth Blue (When I try the orange icons on my CRT monitor I realize that they were too bright - I originally made the icons on my laptop LCD) - Made the shapes one colour each, and no colour for the spiral. - Other things I can't remember any more!!!
